Set millennia into the future, the story follows the odyssey of Hasdrubal D. Macgilliguddy (Mac) an obscure, 15-year-old schoolboy with a passion for antigravity flight who is finally forced into a position where he must reluctantly inherit dictatorial power over the worlds of the Hyades.
